Mr Gay World 2012 is just around the corner, and now is your chance to vote for who should represent New Zealand in Johannesburg, South Africa this April. Who will follow in sexy Aaron Comis’ footsteps? It’s up to you!

Online voting is now open and counts for 20% of the final vote towards deciding who will represent and embody the spirit of New Zealand at Mr Gay World 2012.

Mr Gay World 2012 is to be held in Johannesburg from April 04–08. The competition is about empowering gay men to be the best they can be and to share their stories with others from around the world. The successful candidate from New Zealand will have their flights and hotel expenses paid for the duration of the competition. All candidates will be staying at the luxurious Fairway Hotel Golf Resort, the host hotel for the event. With large international sponsors such as Lexus on board the event will be first class all the way.

There are a range of activities planned throughout the stay including a drive with game rangers in safari vehicles, a sports challenge, panel interviews, soaking up the culture of South Africa, a charity auction and not to forget the Grand Finale taking place on April 8th at the Gold Reef Casino Lyric Theatre.

With online voting now available, the remainder of the New Zealand competition will be held around Big Gay Out this Sunday and at Family Bar directly afterwards.
