Legendary pop singer Whitney Houston has died at age 48.
The cause of her death is not immediately known.
Houston struggled with addiction problems over the year, but was well known for her big ballads that were hits with the GLBT community, particularly the drag community.
Favourites included “Saving All My Love for You,” “How Will I Know,” “Greatest Love of All” and “Where Do Broken Hearts Go.”
Houston will probably be best remembered for her stunning track “I Will Always Love You” from the movie The Bodyguard, which is one of the biggest selling albums of all time.
Rest in peace, Whitney.
