Video round up: Adam, Kylie and Florence’s new work

We’ve received links to a few decent gay and gay icon music videos this week and felt it best to collate them all into one hot post.

First up it’s Adam Lambert, who is out, proud and post-Idol with his latest album Trespassing. His new sci-fi style music video for current single ‘Never Close Our Eyes’ was directed by Dori Oskowitz, whose past work has included on Ke$ha’s ‘Take It Off’. Adam Lambert hopes his fans will use this song to celebrate living in the now.

“We can sleep when we’re dead, let’s make the most of this moment and be in the now. Connect and live!”

Next up it’s Kylie, who needs no introduction with her booty-shaking new hit “Timebomb”. The positively ageless Kylie is back and better than ever!

And finally, those of you who saw Florence + The Machine this week will be excited at her new collaboration with gay photographer David LaChapelle for ‘Spectrum’, the band’s latest single.

Those familiar with LaChapelle’s work will enjoy the colourful absurdity of this video. Choppy wigs, camp ballet dancers and a glowing crotch – this vid has it all!
