Melissa Etheridge is offering two free tickets to her Auckland concert to a lucky 2012 Lesbian Ball ticket holder. The night before the Lesbian Ball, on Saturday 07 July at The Pullman Auckland Hotel, she will perform in a sell-out concert.
Women who have bought tickets on gaba.org.nz or from The Women’s Bookshop by Sunday 18 June will go into a draw to win two Melissa Etheridge Auckland concert tickets.
Organisers of the Lesbian Ball say the event is shaping up to be a fantastic night. They have announced that Urzila Carson, comedian and regular panellist on TV3’s comedy show Seven Days, will be the emcee for an evening of high quality entertainment.
Ball spokesperson Julie Swift says, “We’ve designed a lavish, fun and exciting night for all women. We’re expecting a sell out given recent sales showing that women have missed the annual glamour event. With the stunning professional line-up, who wouldn’t want to attend.”
The Pullman is offering a special accommodation package for the night including breakfast, parking and late check out for those wanting to make it a holiday weekend break.
Leading up to the ball, women wanting to sharpen up their ballroom dancing can head along to Grey Lynn Library Hall, 7.15pm on Thursdays for professional lessons. For more information call Deb on 021 116 2287.
Tickets to the Lesbian Ball are $80 and available online at gaba.org.nz and The Women’s Bookshop (cash only). For more information on the 2012 Lesbian Ball see gaba.org.nz.
