After nine years of feathers and fabulosity, the folks at Finale drag cabaret restaurant are saying goodbye.

Finale’s Alana Delamare says keeping the business alive during the recession has proved too hard for the management team.

“After nine years of hard work and good times, this feels like a funeral,” she says. “But that’s the way business is sometimes.”

Finale is having one last party this Saturday to celebrate all the bar achieved in the time it was open.

“Come up any time after 10.30pm to celebrate with us,” says Alana. “We’re going to have a big party and open up the bar to celebrate. We don’t want to get too sad, just celebrate everything that we’ve achieved over the years.”

Alana says there is a possibility that a Finale 2.0 may open in October under new management. Watch this space.
