Romantic seclusion and endless relaxation is the perfect way to spark your passion and ignite your flame in a tropical paradise.

We all love time out and certainly like looking forward to something quite exceptional and special, whether it’s a relaxing mini-break or a long, decadent, romantic holiday; Samoa is a handy and affordable destination for some delicious indulgence and an abundance of tropical peace and quiet.

Le Vasa Resort is a beautifully secluded, absolute oceanfront oasis situated on half a mile of prime beach property. It offers 13 luxurious waterfront accommodation options on 8 acres set in an enchanting tropical paradise, and you’ll enjoy magnificent views of Manono and Savaii Islands.

Le Vasa is conveniently located near the International Airport and Mulifanua Wharf, which has ferries to Savaii Island. The resort faces a wonderful private lagoon surrounded by a coral reef, and it offers you the ability to make your holiday whatever you want it to be; you can just meander around, sunbathe and sip cocktails by the pool, or soak up the activities and island experience.

Le Vasa offers every island activity imaginable, most are available right at the resort. Passionate about the sea Experience fly-fishing, sport fishing, big-game fishing and traditional reef fishing in Samoa. If you’re happier on land take an Island Tours offering tours of Upolu and Savaii Islands.

If romance is what you seek, enjoy a romantic picnic on your own secluded island beach, or sip champagne on a sunset cruise. The dedicated team is on hand to ensure your vacation is just as you’ve imagined and every staff member is happy to arrange and host your island adventure. All non-motorised vehicles are complimentary for guests’ use, so if you’re after a little one-on-one time you can create your own mini adventure.

11-warrior-smile-le-vasa-sMThe team at Le Vasa has thought of everything and its amenities are plentiful. Holidays are never complete without delicious local cuisine and Le Vasa also has a great selection of wines and beer, although you can just allow them to keep you plied with poolside cocktails.. Imagine sipping your favourite tipple while watching a dramatic sunset or lounging on the beach working on your tan.

As for the food, you can choose from their ocean-view restaurant, a tasty spot by the pool, or why not have your delicious tropical breakfast, delectable lunch or that romantic candle light dinner on the unspoilt beachfront? Whatever your choice, it’s all very welcoming and dripping in romantic atmosphere, with plenty of true Samoan hospitality and spirit.

Traditional Fia Fia nights are one of the great cultural experiences of Samoa. These are performed by professional dancers in traditional costumes of mat dresses and flower garlands. The highlight of the Fia Fia is the Samoan fire dance with spectacular fire-stick handling displays by boys as young as six. The dance routine is performed to upbeat rhythmic drumming, hand clapping and singing. The dance recalls stories from the past; from farewells to loved ones, to great fishing expeditions and war campaigns. This is certainly the prefect way to learn and experience a little of the culture that Samoa is famous for.

Before the dance, an ‘ava ceremony is held to welcome and initiate guests. ‘ava, also known as kava kava, is a traditional drink consumed at all ceremonial occasions across the South Pacific. Drunk in volume, ‘ava is mildly narcotic. The ava ceremony is usually held prior to a Siva which is a Samoan dance and an extension of the welcome.

There is a warm family feeling at Le Vasa due to a lot of local people being employed by the Resort. Their approach is relaxed and informal, not at all commercialised, so guests feel comfortable and as though they’re at their second home.

11-Superior-Oceanfront-falesMThere is a great selection of comfortable and stylish accommodation; you can opt for an ocean-front fale or a villa and there’s excellent variety amongst the rooms. There is even a rather amazing lagoon water fale that literally floats on the edge of the ocean. All the accommodation options feature queen or king-sized beds, open-beam ceilings, daybeds, ceiling fans, air conditioning and a generous shower. The rooms do not have all the latest technology so it’s a perfect opportunity to literally ‘switch off’ although, if needed, telephone, Sky TV and wi-fi are available at reception and in the resort lounge.

This sanctuary is extremely popular and sought after for weddings and honeymoons so with our recent milestones in New Zealand it might be the perfect location for a little romantic matrimonial bliss and reflection, or it could be on one of the pristine sandy beaches that you propose.

Pack your bags and get ready to spice up your life with a holiday at this secluded oasis where you can marvel at the clear night sky, bask in the firelight, drool at the mouthwatering smell of the umu cooking, and enjoy the birdsong with your loved one amidst the garden of Eden. Visit Le Vasa resort and experience all that awaits you.
