What have you done thus far to help?

My best to be an engaged and active citizen.

What do you intend to do as an MP to help?

 As a candidate, I’m intending to maximise the Green Party vote.

Why should our readers give you their party vote?

The Green Party is working for a New Zealand that is better off, both socially and environmentally.

What do you believe are the biggest issues specifically facing the GLBT community?

Legal inequalities, societal discrimination and access to appropriate health services

What have you done thus far to address these?

I ran the Queer group at uni and was involved in the successful Civil Unions campaign. I’ve done volunteer work for causes such as youth suicide prevention and for various groups, including the NZ AIDS Foundation and Safety in Schools for Queers

What would be your message to the New Zealanders so disillusioned by politics that they are not planning to vote this election?

The people who didn’t vote last time could have changed the government.
