The 2016 Asia Pacific Outgames Board is looking for two new members.

The Board, established three months ago, is working well and achieving lots, and it’s now time to broaden the skill set with the addition of two new Board members. They will join other Board members Phylesha Brown-Acton, Prue Kapua, Martin King and Kerry Underhill.

“We are looking for people with a mix of LGBTQI community experience and skills, particularly in the Human Rights area” Co-Chair Phylesha Brown-Acton said.

One of the roles will replace Paul Heard, who has recently stepped down.

“The Outgames is a great event to be part of, and will be fantastic for Auckland. However, there is lots to be done, and with recent changes in my life, I don’t have enough time to commit to do justice to the Outgames Board” Paul said.

People who are interested in being part of the Board can express their interest by emailing info@aucklandoutgames.com]
