Auckland Pride has announced the dates of the 2016 festival in addition to appointing three new board members.
The 2016 Pride Festival will run from the 5 – 28 February 2016.
Just like the 2014 programme, the two flagship events of the Festival will see both the Parade and the Proud Party take place on Saturday 20 February 2016, which Pride says is “in response to overwhelming feedback from the community”
Further details around dates will be announced later this year.

Meanwhile, there have been three new appointments made to the Auckland Pride board. Shirley Allan, Kirsten Sibbit and Vinnie Sykes will join existing board members Phylesha Brown-Acton, Richard James, Paul Patton and Julie Swift.
