In celebration of Pride month, Converse welcomes international pop star and philanthropist, Miley Cyrus, to the brand as an ambassador of the YES TO ALL campaign to support LGBT+ youth and equality.
Through her Happy Hippie Foundation, Cyrus rallies for young people to stand up against the injustices that face LGBT+ youth today. In the same spirit, Converse says YES TO ALL, standing with youth, freedom of expression, and the belief that whatever gender, sexual orientation or identity, everyone should feel free to be exactly who they are.
This year, a percentage of proceeds of direct sales from the Converse Pride Collection will support RainbowYOUTH, a charitable organisation dedicated to helping young queer and gender diverse (LGBT+) people up to the ages of 27, as well as their wider communities. The 2017 Pride Collection is a limited-edition collection of the iconic Chuck Taylor All Star and Chuck Taylor All Star ’70 — designed to celebrate the LGBT+ community with bright colours and bold details.
