American drag queen, actor, model, singer, songwriter, television personality, and author, RuPaul will soon feature on the Netflix series titled AJ and the Queen.

The ten-episode one-hour long, comedy series starring RuPaul, focuses on the life of Ruby Red a “bigger-than-life but down-on-her-luck drag queen who travels across America from club to club in a rundown 1990’s R/V.”

The series will also feature Ruby Red’s sidekick AJ, who is “a recently orphaned, tough-talking, scrappy 11-year-old stowaway.”

AJ and the Queen will be produced by RuPaul and Michael Patrick King, who is the show-runner of Sex and the City and co-creator of 2 Broke Girls

A release date for the project is yet to be announced by Netflix.
