Out Wellington, the organisers of the annual Out in the Square GLBT fair, has some new faces on board.

Out Wellington, the volunteer group that organises Wellington's famous Out in the Square event every year, is now seeking new members to take over.

The group that will organise the backbone of the Auckland Pride festival has been announced and will be introduced tonight.

It can finally be announced that Auckland Pride is go for 2013. This is an exciting prospect for many people – not just those of us who now get to report on a huge number of events early next year, but for those who remember the celebrations of old and how they shaped their lives.

The final say on whether Auckland Pride will go ahead is still a little down the road, but all signs are positive with Auckland Pride now on the lookout for trustees.

The organisations that run Gay Games and Outgames have failed to come to an agreement that would have seen a joint event in 2018.
